Dedicated to Patient, Thoughtful Horsemanship and Lasting Connections
I nurture strong bonds through training focused on respect and trust.
My Story
I began my equine journey at nine years old and adopted Solo at ten. Together, we worked through significant behavioral and training challenges, developing a foundation built on trust, communication, and consistency. Over the years, Solo and I have progressed from navigating basic handling challenges to confidently performing liberty work and tackling a wide range of spook-proofing and desensitization challenges.
Kacie came into my life in 2020, one year after suffering a complete hindquarter tear. With her comfort and long-term well-being as our priority, we focused on gradually rebuilding her strength and muscle through conditioning, along with appropriate supplementation and care. Through patience and consistency, Kacie reached a point where she was comfortable, strong, and able to perform her maneuvers successfully. She went on to complete two full years of showing with me.
Both horses have shaped my approach to horsemanship and taught me that progress does not look the same for every horse. Working through their individual challenges has reinforced my belief that effective training begins with listening to the horse, building trust, and finding an approach that allows both horse and rider to succeed.
